What, you may ask is a site devoted to
telecommunications doing with a Global Threat Level page?
Well, from my point of view its quite simple.
The more that we put telephone systems and their applications
onto PCs and servers the more likely they are to be infected
with either a virus or a trojan horse, or maybe the victim of a
denial of service attack.
One thing I am sure of, is that the more we put
PBXs on PCs and servers and the more we connect them to the
internet, the more they will be attacked.
So, YES, I do believe that a Global Threat Level
Monitor belongs on a telecommunications site.
